My Belief's

Jesus death was Unique:

Many people were crucified in a similiar manner as Jesus, in fact, two thiefs died along side with Jesus that very day.

So what made Jesus' death UNIQUE??

Besides the fact that Jesus predicted His own death and the Old Testament described it exactly.

What makes His death UNIQUE was that Jesus could not be killed by anything on Earth nor could He die by any natural causes. Jesus as God could not die.

Hear what Jesus said concerning His death.

John 10:18 - "No man takes it (my life) from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father."

Jesus death was according to His Will and according to His Time:

Only when He had finished what He had come to Earth to do, He voluntarily GAVE UP HIS SPIRIT. Hear again His words.

John 19: 12 - "When Jesus had tasted it, he said, "It is finished!" Then he bowed his head and released his spirit."

It does not say, "bowed head and died".  That the spirit of Jesus had departed already was totally unexpected since people would suffer for days on a cross. The legs of the thieves had to be broken to make them die so soon, yet Jesus was dead by His own Will and Time.
