What KEYBOARD do I really need?? Do I need to spend hundreds of dollars?

MrDave says YES and NO. YES to a better keyboard than the 61 key keyboard.
NO to a keyboard that cost hundreds. 

There are 3 keyboard sizes: 61 key, 76 key and lastly 88 key.

If you ALREADY have a 76 key keyboard, you may not need to upgrade at this time. But if your student becomes a REAL SERIOUS about playing the keyboard than an 88 weighted key keyboard should be considered.

It might cheaper in the long run to move from a 61 key to the 88 key keyboard and skip the 76 key step.

So what is the ABSOLUTE MINIMUM?
Picture # 1 KEYBOARD, POWER SUPPLY(not shown), MUSIC HOLDER. 
Then ADD:
Picture # 2 KEYBOARD DOUBLE X STAND,       (foot pedal nice, not required.)
Picture # 3 WOODEN MUSIC STAND, BENCH,
